searching for food in K.I.A and can't believe end up 'consuming' KFC version of 'chicken rice'...

i guess it's a bit 'disgrace' to our local chicken rice... the 'rice' is taste**ss...

jelawang waterfall... dabong...

one of the highest mountain in Malaysia and S.E.A., standing at approx. 1,000m, JELAWANG waterfall located in Dabong, Kelantan.


took approx. 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach the waterfall peak... to those with HUGE lungs and stamina, 40 minutes should be enough...


it's 45 degree hike all the way to the top...

manukan island...

nice place to relax...
only takes 15 minutes from jessleton port to manukan island... RM23 including port tax (RM6)...
normally sabahan will go for one day outing...
as now the island is under SUTERA SANTUARY management... as usual... privatisation... more expensive...
(by the way, SUTERA SANTUARY is also the sole agent for Mount Kinabalu's lodging)...
the water is very clear... just like PERHENTIAN island...

and boy oh boy, MAS really knows how to make more money by introducing the nicely packaged 'lunch pack' for meal-on-board... you paid more than RM1,000.00 for a flight to KK and back... and guess what you're served?

i got an apple, cadbury's chocolate, delcol's mineral water and 2 pieces of local pastry...nice nice...

while on my way back, i got a better deal...

spritzer's mineral water, kit kat, an apple and 2 pcs of local pastry...

gone are the days where you can have choices... now you have ONLY 1 CHOICE!

i guess this really contribute to MAS earning...
